Interview & Aptitude Test Criteria

Interviews and the aptitude tests taken in CPMC at the me of admission process are the way to evaluate a student’s attributes essentially required to become a quality doctor, cognitive prowess and abilities related to the field of medicine. The aptitude includes written tests, verbal ability test, logical and critical reasoning test and problem handling ability tests. Our aptitude test comes with a set of scenario based questions that also help gauge following parameters in a students:

·         Professionalism

·         Time Management

·         Leadership and Communication Skills

·         Concern, Empathy and Ethics

·         Critical Thinking

·         Stress and Anger Management

·         Planning, Organizing & Decision Making in Urgent Situations

·         Knowledge about Current Health Care System

An interview is also scheduled for the students taken by our panel of experienced professors & psychiatrist who assess the communication skills, confidence level, verbal abilities & personality traits. The students are short listed following the results of above-mentioned aptitude tests and further secure the position.

APTITUDE TEST WILL COMPRISE OF TWO PORTIONS

LISTENING: component will be on 5 minutes. A scenario will be given to applicants verbally and asked them to write the appropriate answer on the answer sheet

SCENARIO BASED SHORT ESSAY QUESTIONS:

4 to 6 scenario-based questions will be shown to the applicants and will be given 50 minutes me to write the answers
