About Dr. Maryam

Dr Maryam Aamer graduated from Fatima Jinnah Medical College Lahore then moved to United kingdom and completed her Foundation and Internal Medicine training from the UK’s Largest Hospital in Leeds known as Leeds Teaching Hospital. She did her Rheumatology training with Professor Ahmed Saeed. In March 2021 she joined CPTH as SR Rheumatology. She did her Specialty Certificate Examination (SCE) in rheumatology from UK in 2021. She is EULAR Certified for MSK ultrasound and has lately done MSK Ultrasound fellowship from UK to enhance further experience in this field. She is also involved in many research projects with the department. She is key organizer of ACF Lupus Support Group ,the first ever support group in the history of Pakistan for the support ,education and research of Systemic Lupus erythematosus. She is currently pursuing her Certification for Health professional education from Baqai Medical University.
